Численно мультипликатор (М) больше единицы и равен отношению: М = 1/MPS, где MPS — максимальная склонность потребителя к сбережению средств. Так как MPS = 1 МРС, где МРС — предельная склонность потребителя к потреблению (доля дохода, затрачиваемая на потребление), то ясно, что мультипликатор М превышает по величине единицу (М > 1). Мультипликатор определяется также отношением прироста равновесного ВНП к изменению объема инвестиций, вызвавшему этот прирост; 2) отношение стоимости предприятия к показателям, характеризующим его финансово хозяйственную деятельность (прибыль, выручка от продаж, производственная мощность, стоимость активов). Например, если стоимость предприятия составляет 30 млн. руб., а годовая выручка — 10 млн. руб., то мультипликатор по отношению к выручке равен 3; 3) мультипликатор банковский (депозитный) представляет отношение увеличения общей суммы денег в обращении к обусловившему его приращению денег, находящихся на депозитах в банке.
